PRESS RELEASE

Yamodo! Sets the Theme for 2011
Monsters & Aliens, Magic & Mayhem and Gizmos & Gadgets Are Good To Go!

Tarrytown, NY - (February 13, 2010) – Idea Storm Products is taking a page from its Yamodo fans by offering all-new themed versions of it popular Yamodo! Good To Go!™ game. Three new theme packs will be revealed at The American International Toy Fair in New York City this February.

Bill Phelps, Chief Imaginator of Idea Storm Products, said, “We’ve taken the most popular categories of doodles and definitions from Yamodo players everywhere and we’ve designed specific Yamodo games that cater to those themes. Now, in addition to our original Yamodo! Good to Go! general version, we’ve added Yamodo! Monsters & Aliens, Yamodo! Magic & Mayhem and Yamodo! Gizmos & Gadgets.”

“Our new themes are suited for all ages, but are especially great for that difficult-to-buy-for age of 8-12.  It’s inspirational, doesn’t need batteries, and will keep the whole family laughing,” Phelps added.

The new Yamodo! Good To Go! Themes follow the familiar Yamodo game play patterns that have participants thinking, doodle, and writing out their own interpretations of inspired, made-up Yamodo! words. The twist this time is that the doodles and definitions should be related to the category of the game theme.

Yamodo! Good To Go! Themes carry the same affordable $9.95 price as the original Yamodo! Good To Go! and are now available in stores along with Yamodo! Volume 1 ($14.95), and Yamodo! Party Time™ (MSRP $24.95).

“The imaginative premise of Yamodo eliminates age and creativity barriers, giving everyone the chance to create together,” Phelps explained. “Playing the traditional Yamodo!, each person selects a card and then uses their imagination to draw and define the made-up word written at the top of each card. To help spark the creative process and take the intimidation out of doodle, each card has the start of an existing doodle for players to add too. The card is then passed to the next player to add to the doodle and definition. The cards become increasingly outrageous as players pass the card around for others to build on.”

As a result, Yamodo’s creative collaborations have people uploading their creations on www.yamodo.com for all to see. “We call it upload your best and see the rest,” Phelps said. Right now, over 1,000 uploaded “yamodos” are on www.yamodo.com

Yamodo! Party Time takes the same imaginative premise of Yamodo! as a group game. Played in quick rounds, Yamodo! Party Time has all players compete at the same time to win the current judge’s favor by creating the “best” definition to a given made-up word and theme. All players have to stay on their toes though, because midway into the round, the Judge spins the Spindoodler and players may have to pass their page and complete someone else’s, or keep doodle on their own. Every round has a new judge, word, and theme - so you never know what your mind will draw out!
