PRESS RELEASE

Playroom Decorated with National Parenting Center Awards
for Pick A Paint™ and Sherlock™ Deluxe

North Hollywood, CA - (May 13, 2009) – Playroom Entertainment's colorful card game Pick A Paint™, along with the new Deluxe version of its game, Sherlock™, have found approval from The National Parenting Center.

Pick A Paint is the latest release in Playroom Entertainment's popular Bright Idea Games line, the affordable, educational card game series that also includes the new edition of the company's other 2009 National Parenting Award Seal of Approval winner, Sherlock™ Deluxe.

Dan Rowen , president of Playroom, said, "It is very satisfying to have our products recognized by such a prestigious organization as The National Parenting Center. We are thrilled to have the unbiased validation that we are succeeding in providing fun, quality products with educational elements for children."

Playroom's original version of the Sherlock memory game was also a National Parenting Center recipient a couple of years ago. Sherlock Deluxe (MSRP $15 for ages 5 and up) is the new, upgraded edition of the best-selling product in the Bright Idea Games line, Sherlock (MSRP $10 for ages 5 and up). While the game play of Sherlock remains the same, the new Deluxe edition adds a Sherlock miniature figurine, instead of the Sherlock marker card, some exclusive new graphics, more cards and a cool library book packaging.

"Sherlock is one of the consumer favorites in our Bright Idea Games line. We wanted to give the Sherlock fans an added-extra to the fun that they experience with the game," Rowen continued. "The new package also gives the game an attractive and elegant look for display or as a gift."

For Pick A Paint (MSRP $10 for ages 5 and up), one of the many reasons that Playroom is gaining significant praise is the game's cooperative game play, where players must work together to complete the challenge. Using cards to select colors for different objects, players need to assemble a grid where each color can only appear once in each row or column.

"Pick A Paint offers team play coordination, color and object recognition, along with the reinforcement of memory skills for children. It's a game that both children enjoy and parents love for their children to play," Rowen explained.

Combined, the Bright Idea Games from Playroom have earned more than three dozen different awards and individual honors. Along with another of Playroom's new games, Time After Time™, Pick A Paint was a Top Pick Selection by Toy Wishes and recommended product by Creative Child. Time After Time and Sherlock were also announced as winners of the Dr. Toy Best Vacation Products and Best Toys of the Year in 2008, respectively.

The 12 Bright Idea Games all have a similar look and feel, creating a consistent group of games, with each one focusing on slightly different skill sets for children. With instructions in English, Spanish and French, Playroom, along with other international publishers, have sold over 2 million units of Bright Idea Games worldwide - and more great games will be added to this line every year! Playroom's match-up of designer Reinhard Staupe and illustrator Oliver Freudenreich has been a masterful team that has created an engaging and entertaining line-up that is particularly appealing to 5-8 year-olds, while still providing fun for the whole family.

Other products in the Bright Idea Games line include Catch the Match™, Number Chase™, Hop to It!™, Right Turn Left Turn™, Monkey Memory™, Gopher It!™, Papa Bear™, M is for Mouse™, and the soon-to-be-released Trading Faces™.
