Meet Killer Bunnies Creator Bellinger at GTS Las Vegas, NV – (April 10, 2009) – Playroom Entertainment jumped at the chance to have the man behind the original Killer Bunnies® frenzy, Jeffrey Neil Bellinger, creator of the hit hobby game, live and in-person at The Annual Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Trade Show, held at Bally‘s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, April 14-17. Bellinger will be at the Playroom Entertainment BOOTH #215 on Wednesday and Thursday to autograph games and field questions about Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot™, the new Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter, and the future of the Killer Bunnies franchise. In addition to game demonstration in the booth, Playroom is also making the new Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter available to play on Wednesday evening as part of the PSI Game Night event. More than seven years ago, Playroom Entertainment took a chance on Bellinger's satirical strategy card game with the edgy title, and it bounced the company into a position as a major player in the hobby game business. Now, nine Booster Decks later, a KinderBunnies™ version for ages five and up, and the new Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter board game, Killer Bunnies is its own licensed brand for Playroom. Recently, Killer Bunnies has been reaching mainstream America as more and more traditional toy stores, as well as the game and comic book shops have had great success with the product line. Dan Rowen , president of Playroom Entertainment, explains, "The main reasons why people are drawn to Killer Bunnies are because of the great game play, humorous card references, hysterical images, and fun strategies. Each booster deck of cards that is mixed into the game, not only adds more great content, but also introduces new types of strategy and game mechanics to the core game." Killer Bunnies Quest is a non-collectible card game for 2 to 8 players, and is geared toward family fun. The graphics on the cards are cute, fun and silly situations that satirize the premise of a bunny-killing free-for-all. Whereas many games simply add additional cards or more questions in expansions, Playroom's Killer Bunnies Boosters allow for new elements in the game and previously unavailable offensive and defensive choices are revealed. The game can be played with any number of boosters and different elements are discovered from supplementary cards. ABOUT GAMA: ABOUT PLAYROOM ENTERTAINMENT: For Product Sales Information, Contact: |
