Wise Alecs and Griddly Headz Football Players in ASTRA Crowd

St. Paul, MN – (June 5, 2009) – Griddly Games, Inc. debuts two new games to specialty toy buyers and all other attendees at the Annual American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) Show in St. Paul, Minnesota, June 15-17.

Griddly Games, BOOTH #514 in the Saint Paul RiverCentre, located at 175 W. Kellogg Blvd. in Saint Paul , will be playing to the industry executives to find the wise guys and gals and board game sports in the crowd that will be gathered at this year’s ASTRA show.

In addition to on-going games of the trivia, tongue twisters, and sassy social strategy of the new Wise Alec™ game, Griddly Games will be demonstrating its new Griddly Headz™ Football game, along with its other award-winning sports-themed games, Griddly Headz™ Baseball, Griddly Headz™ NASCAR® Racing, and Griddly Headz™ Hockey games.

When playing Wise Alec (MSRP $24.99, for 2-6 players ages 8 and up) opponents have a chance for making wise choices before, during, and after the game. On each turn, players try to earn points as they move around the board answerin g questions from school curriculum in three different categories. Each question offers a choice of an easy or more difficult question. Players can use their strengths for maximum or minimum risk and reward, but when a player lands on a Wise Alec card, the fun really begins.
