PRESS RELEASE

The Doctor Will Be Out of the Office

San Francisco, CA – (January 28, 2008) – Stevanne Auerbach , Ph.D., better known as Dr. Toy, announced today that she, and the organization she has built under her trademark, will be taking the time to focus on plans for the future of Dr. Toy, award programs and related services.

“We tried to find time last year, but it was busier than ever,” explained Dr. Toy . “As much as I like to ‘multi-task’, the new plans require all of our attention. I am not comfortable with any distraction from the important details of evaluating products.”

For 2008, Dr. Toy and her team will carefully be working on reorganization and the renowned Dr. Toy Awards programs will be on hiatus while new business prospects and opportunities are explored. In the meantime, the Dr. Toy resources, including Dr. Toy ’s Guide, product reviews, and updated information will continue to be provided on the www.drtoy.com website.

“We want to be ready to provide the toy manufacturers, industry executives, parents, teachers, and all consumer groups with the best on-going services,” Stevanne continued. “Ours was never a ‘business,’ but a professional service that greatly expanded. Dr. Toy offers a very unique service and as soon as we formulate the best possible plan for the future, we will notify all of the outstanding companies that have submitted to our award programs and our incredible network of industry professionals.”

According to Dr. Toy , several considerations and offers are being entertained to bring in a “matchmaker to connect with an appropriate entity.”

The power of a Dr. Toy Award is a time-tested, well-respected opportunity to reach thousands of consumers and retailers. In 2007, more than 70 million consumers gained important buying information from Dr. Toy's Best Children’s Products Awards Programs (Classic, Products of Excellence, Best Vacation and the 100 Best). The first ever “Best Green Product Award” was bestowed by Dr. Toy on Blue Orange Games. She spoke across the country with a constructive response on toy safety issues.
