Stamford, CT – (March 23, 2010) – BENISTAR, one of the nation’s leading administrators of health and welfare benefit plans, has expanded and moved its 20-member sales and marketing offices to 300 First Stamford Place, a Malkin Properties office complex located adjacent to the Stamford Transportation Center.
The move provides more than 7,200 square feet of Class A office space for BENISTAR’s growing sales and marketing team in Stamford. With its lease expiring at its longtime Clearwater House location, BENISTAR chose to add space for its growing Stamford staff while departing from an ongoing construction area in the Harbor Point development.
“With the recent passage of the new Health Care Bill, we expect to increase our products, services and staff significantly to help small and medium-sized businesses navigate this complicated health care landscape so they can provide high-quality and low-cost health, medical, and welfare benefits for their employees,” said Jack E. As part of the move, BENISTAR gave back to the community by donating several thousand dollars worth of high-quality office furniture that will now outfit the new Urban League of Southern Connecticut offices located on Atlantic Street in downtown Stamford.
