Hong Kong - ( Nov. 6, 2009 ) – Basic Concepts is calling its new game FAST4WORDS, the ultimate 4-minute word game.

As a fast-paced, fast-action, fast-scoring, word game, FAST4WORDS (MSRP $14.99) is a fast-decision purchase for any word game fans. In FAST4WORDS, two players take turns placing their letter blocks into the upright letter grid. Words are created vertically, horizontally, diagonally, backward and forward. Players score 1 point per letter for every 2, 3, or 4 letter word. Players that move quickly can earn bonus points. The player with the most points at the end of the round wins!

Joining FAST4WORDS in stores this year is Basic Concepts latest addition to its family of pop-up board games, Mystic Tower and the Book of Spells™.

Mystic Tower is a bright, colorful new game adventure in the 3D Adventure series that already includes The 2008 Toy Industry Association Game of the Year Finalist Haunted Ruins™ and Redbook Magazine’s Toy Insider choice Treasure of the Lost Pyramid™.

This time the Mystic Tower pops-up for multi-level platform play as soon as the board is unfolded. Like the other 3D games, no assembly is required and the game comes ready to play with moveable paths and stairways that can be manipulated by players throughout the game.
