Playroom’s Bunnies Get on Board

North Hollywood, CA – (April 4, 2008) – The Killer Bunnies® brand is getting on board as Playroom Entertainment today announced that its world-renowned rabbits will be making the leap to a board game platform this Fall. The new Killer Bunnies® and the Journey to Jupiter™ (MSRP $45, for ages 10 and up) is the new fast-paced board game for 2-6 players that operates completely independently of the famous Killer Bunnies® and the Quest for the Magic Carrot™ card game and Killer Bunnies ® Quest Booster Decks.
Dan Rowen , President of Playroom, explained, “We’re taking the Killer Bunnies franchise into a new dimension in more ways than one. Not only are they introduced to board game elements and new strategies, we’re also sending them to Jupiter where really out of this world action can take place.”
The Killer Bunnies Jupiter board game is a stand-alone board game that begins in the same manner that began the worldwide cult phenomenon of the Killer Bunnies® and the Quest for the Magic Carrot™, with a Blue Starter deck. However, as the board game is based on the same card game mechanics that the world has come to know and love, Killer Bunnies Jupiter has a board that allows players to travel into space and do a lot of other, different things.
Playroom will be demonstrating the new game at all toy and hobby trade shows, consumer events, and expositions to accommodate the rabble of rabbit fans who are eager to get a nibble of the new game.
